Award-winning professional performing arts theatre in the heart of St. Charles

Welcome to Steel Beam Theatre

3, 2, 1.....Go! We're Coming Home!

Steel Beam Theatre's 2021-2022 Season Opens Soon!

Steel Beam Theatre will be re-opening with a season featuring one, two and three performers for a unique theatre experience. Following guidelines regarding safety of our workers and patrons, all actors and staff will be vaccinated with proof of vaccination on file. In accordance with guidelines that suggest a six foot distancing between patrons, the Board of Directors has decided that all patrons be required to mask up, whether vaccinated or not. Given the intimate size of our theatre and backstage, we are implementing these measures as a precaution. Cleaning of the theatre between performances is mandatory and hand sanitizing stations will be present for all to utilize.

DONATE NOW

Your generosity will help us to continue our 19-year history of producing quality theatre – and providing quality theatre education for youth - in the Fox Valley.

We appreciate your help today as we look forward to a time, hopefully in the very near future, when we can meet again in the theatre and hear a hearty round of applause.

We will continue to communicate with you as we make decisions about the remainder of our season and our annual gala, currently scheduled for June 26 at Baker Community Center.

Sincerely,

Steel Beam Theatre Board of Directors

Administration

Steel Beam Theatre is a professionally run not-for-profit organization. We operate with a full-time executive artistic director, Marge Uhlarik-Boller, at the helm, who brings many years of theatre experience to the artistic aspects of the company, but also the hard-won administrative skills earned as an educator and administrator. She is responsible for day to day business as well as the artistic mission and vision of the theatre. Her many years as an educator for gifted students enhances both how she works with the artistic teams but how she works with audiences.

As an organization who believes part of its mission is to educate and foster interest in the arts in the Fox Valley, Steel Beam offers a full slate of youth programming. Click through to review the Youth Theatre Education Program and On-Stage Youth Performance opportunities.
