Take two parts sexual hijinks, one part mistaken identity, add a dash of slapstick and a French country house, and you have the perfect recipe for the laughs you crave in Don’t Dress for Dinner, a hilarious madcap romp that played in Paris for two years and for seven in London’s West End.
The BBC raved that "this is farce as it should be -- hilarious, fast-paced, clever, complicated and sexy,” and The Oxford Mail declared Don’t Dress for Dinner a "masterpiece of comic timing."

Don’t Dress for Dinner is by Marc Camoletti, a French playwright who authored the 1960s Broadway hit Boeing Boeing, which features Parisian architect and lothario Bernard trying to juggle three different fiancées.
In the sequel Don’t Dress for Dinner, it’s twenty years later and Bernard is up to his old tricks. When he discovers that his wife Jacqueline is off to visit her mother for the weekend, he invites his mistress Suzanne to their French country house for a weekend of romance; and Suzette, a Cordon Bleu chef, to cook their meals. After Jacqueline learns that Bernard’s best friend Robert will be a visitor as well that weekend, she unexpectedly cancels her trip and the comedic confusion commences!
Directed by Bill Barry, Jr. of Carol Stream, a veteran actor and director of 35 years, the Don’t Dress For Dinner cast includes: Julie Bayer of Naperville as Suzette; Dennis Brown of St. Charles as Bernard; Dean Gallagher of Algonquin as Robert; Jocelyn Adamski of Wheaton as Suzanne; Lisa Savegnago of Carol Stream as Jacqueline; and Greg Zawada of Geneva as George.
